What's the difference between hybrid, vinyl plank and engineered timber?

Good question and it's worth knowing before you commit. Here's the quick version:

Vinyl plank is 100% waterproof, super durable, and great value. Ideal for high-traffic areas, wet zones, and homes with kids or pets.

Hybrid flooring is the best of both worlds. It combines a rigid core with a realistic timber look, and is also fully waterproof. It's one of the most popular choices for whole-home renovations.

Engineered timber has a real timber veneer on top, giving you that genuine timber look and feel at a more accessible price point than solid hardwood. It's a step up in aesthetic and is a great option if you want something with a bit more warmth and character.

Can I see samples before committing?

Do I need to move my furniture before you arrive?

Totally up to you. If you'd like to get it sorted beforehand, we'll arrive ready to get straight into it. Prefer to leave it to us? We can move furniture for you for a small additional fee. Just let us know when you book so we can factor it in.

How long does installation take?

For roughly 100m2 prep and install, take around 2–3 days. Larger or more complex spaces may take a little longer. We'll give you a clear timeframe when we quote so you can plan around it. No vague answers.
